FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: ENDANGERED AND THREATENED WILDLIFE AND PLANTS; 90-DAY FINDINGS FOR NINE SPECIES

WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 -- Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a proposed rule called: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; 90-Day Findings for Nine Species.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 25 by Brian R. Nesvik, Director, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Summary: We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), announce 90-day findings on eight petitions to add species to the Lists of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants and one petition to revise critical habitat for a listed species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act).
