Today, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE) announced that so far, in 2026, her office helped secure the return of over $10.3 million to Nebraskans owed to them by the federal government through her casework services.

The dollar amount returned to Nebraskans is made up of money they have earned, or benefits owed to them by the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Veteran Affairs, the Social Security Administration, and other agencies.
