WASHINGTON, Feb. 19 -- Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has issued a rule called: Commercial Driver's License Standards; Requirements and Penalties: Applicability to the Exception for Certain Military Personnel.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 19 by Derek Barrs, Administrator.

Summary: FMCSA amends the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations (FMCSR) to allow dual-status military technicians to qualify for the exception for certain military personnel from commercial driver's license (CDL) standards.
