CHARLOTTE, N.C. - U.S. Attorney Russ Ferguson, U.S. Marshal Terry Burgin, and Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden today announced a new agreement between the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) to relocate federal detainees from detention facilities outside of North Carolina to facilities in Mecklenburg County.
