WASHINGTON, July 18 -- Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has issued a proposed rule called: Parent Companies of Industrial Banks and Industrial Loan Companies; Withdrawal of Proposed Rule.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on July 18 by Debra A. Decker, Executive Secretary.
Summary: The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is withdrawing a notice of proposed rulemaking relating to parent companies of industrial banks and industrial loan companies. If the FDIC decides to make changes in this area, it will do so through a future regulatory action.
