FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES; VIKING AIR LIMITED (TYPE CERTIFICATE PREVIOUSLY HELD BY BOMBARDIER INC. AND DE HAVILLAND, INC.) AIRPLANES

WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Viking Air Limited (Type Certificate Previously Held by Bombardier Inc. and de Havilland, Inc.) Airplanes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 25 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2022-23-08, which applied to all Viking Air Limited (Viking) Model DHC-3 airplanes.
