WASHINGTON, May 22 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc, Airplanes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 22 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc, Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports that inappropriate tooling was used to torque the bolts securing the baggage door stop fittings, which may have resulted in an improper torque condition.
