WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Regional Airplanes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 9 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Regional Model ATR42-300, -320, -500, ATR72-201, and -212A airplanes and all ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Regional Model ATR72-102, -202, -211, and -212 airplanes.
