WASHINGTON, May 14 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 14 by Brian Knaup, Acting Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A350-941 and -1041 airplanes. This AD was prompted by the obsolescence of the clamp holding in place the oxygen generator in the container and introduction of a new clamp from another manufacturer with different locking torque specifications, which were not properly reflected in Airbus documentation.
