WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 13 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Helicopters Model AS350B2 helicopters. This AD was prompted by a report of magnetization on the solenoid valves for the three main servo-controls, the regulator block, and the tail servo-control due to a diode not properly installed in the hydraulic circuit.
