FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES; THE BOEING COMPANY AIRPLANES

WASHINGTON, July 27 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing Company Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on July 27 by Brian Knaup, Acting Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain The Boeing Company Model 737-8, 737-9, and 737-8200 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report that certain passenger seat assemblies were not correctly installed in the seat tracks.
