WASHINGTON, March 19 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on March 19 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. (Pilatus) Model PC-12/47E airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report of the stall warning protection system (SWPS) engaging when not appropriate.
