WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc. Airplanes.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 9 by Paul R. Bernado, Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc, Model BD-700-2A12 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of fuel leakage near rib 6 during production pressure testing. An investigation found oversized holes in a certain outboard shear-tie.
