FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES; BOMBARDIER, INC., AIRPLANES

WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc, Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 24 by Hollister B. Thorson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is revising a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) that would have applied to certain Bombardier, Inc, Model BD-700-2A12 airplanes. This action revises the NPRM by citing new material required for the revision of the existing maintenance or inspection program.
