WASHINGTON, Aug. 19 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 19 by Brian Knaup, Acting Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A330-941 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by an occurrence of a triple "PRIM FAULT" in the Flight Control Primary Computer (FCPC) at touchdown.
