WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Significant New Use Rule on a Certain Chemical Substance; Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 24 by Mary Elissa Reaves, Director, Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics.
Summary: EPA is issuing a significant new use rule (SNUR) under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) for a certain chemical substance that was the subject of a premanufacture notice (PMN) and is also subject to an Order issued by EPA pursuant to TSCA.
