WASHINGTON, April 1 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) Program: Standards for 2026 and 2027, Partial Waiver of 2025 Cellulosic Biofuel Volume Requirement, and Other Changes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on April 1 by Lee Zeldin, Administrator.

Summary: Under the Clean Air Act (CAA), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is required to determine the applicable volume requirements for the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) for years after those specified in the statute.
