WASHINGTON, April 9 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Reconsideration of Standards of Performance for New, Reconstructed, and Modified Sources and Emissions Guidelines for Existing Sources: Oil and Natural Gas Sector Climate Review.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on April 9 by Lee Zeldin, Administrator.

Summary: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is finalizing amendments to the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) and Emission Guidelines (EG) for Existing Sources for the Crude Oil and Natural Gas Source Category in response to petitions for reconsideration of the March 8, 2024, final rule.
