WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Operating Permit Program Approval; New Hampshire; Revised Definitions.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 30 by Mark Sanborn, Regional Administrator, EPA Region 1.

Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approves revisions to the State of New Hampshire's Clean Air Act (CAA) title V operating permit program. These revisions amend the definitions of "hazardous air pollutant" and "regulated air pollutant" in New Hampshire regulations to remain consistent with Federal permitting and air toxics requirements in accordance with the CAA.
