WASHINGTON, June 30 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Chlormequat Chloride; Pesticide Tolerances.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 30 by Leo Gueriguian, Acting Director, Office of Pesticide Programs.
Summary: This regulation modifies existing tolerances for residues of chlormequat chloride in or on barley, oats, triticale, and wheat grains; and in or on multiple food and livestock commodities that are identified and will be discussed in detail later in this document. Taminco US LLC, a subsidiary of Eastman Chemical Company, requested these tolerances under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
