WASHINGTON, Aug. 17 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Calcium Carbonate; Exemption From the Requirement of a Pesticide Tolerance.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 17 by Elizabeth Vizard, Acting Director, Office of Pesticide Programs.
Summary: This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of calcium carbonate (CAS # 471-34-1), in or on all food commodities when used in accordance with label directions and good agricultural practices.
