WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Alaska: Final Authorization of State Hazardous Waste Program.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 6 by Emma Pokon, Regional Administrator, Region 10.

Summary: The State of Alaska (Alaska or the State) has applied to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (the EPA or the Agency) for final authorization of its hazardous waste program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, as amended (RCRA).
