WASHINGTON, April 2 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Air Plan Approval; Ohio; Muskingum River 2010 Sulfur Dioxide Redesignation and Maintenance Plan.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on April 2 by Cheryl Newton, Acting Regional Administrator, Region 5.
Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finds that the Muskingum River sulfur dioxide (SO 2) nonattainment area, located in Center Township in Morgan County and Waterford Township in Washington County, Ohio, (hereafter referred to as "Muskingum River area") is attaining the 2010 SO 2National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS).
