WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Air Plan Revisions; Arizona; Maricopa County Air Quality Department; Volatile Organic Compounds; Solvent Cleaning.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 11 by Michael Martucci, Acting Regional Administrator, Region IX.

Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve revisions to the Maricopa County Air Quality Department (MCAQD) portion of the Arizona State Implementation Plan (SIP). These revisions concern rules that regulate volatile organic compounds (VOC) emissions from solvent cleaning operations.
