WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 -- Employee Benefits Security Administration has issued a notice called: Proposed Exemption for Certain Prohibited Transactions Involving Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council Apprentice and Training Fund (the Fund) Located in St. Louis, Missouri.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 22 by Christopher Motta, Acting Director, Office of Exemption Determinations, Employee Benefits Security Administration, U.S. Department of Labor.

Summary: This proposed exemption would permit the sale by the Fund of real property to the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council (the Sale). Without this exemption, the Sale would be prohibited by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).
