LEXINGTON, Ky., Sept. 30 -- The University of Kentucky issued the following news release:
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 30, 2026) - The Elizabeth Street South Lot (formerly Press Avenue South) will doublein size, adding 80 employee intermediate parking spaces. Weather permitting, the lot will be repaved and restriped Thursday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 2.
The lot is being expanded by approximately 24,000 square feet and will provide much-needed parking near the Elizabeth Street Garage (PS #6). A new entrance and exit also will be added off Elizabeth Street.
