Congressman Chuck Edwards (NC-11) joined House Veterans' Affairs Committee Chairman Mike Bost (IL-12) to introduce the Take Care of America's Veterans Act, comprehensive legislation to improve veterans' access to care, strengthen benefits, and modernize VA services.
The package includes reforms to expand health care access, improve mental health and suicide prevention programs, support caregivers and surviving military families, modernize disability claims processing, and strengthen accountability across the VA system.
