WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Department Of Veterans Affairs has issued a proposed rule called: Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 15 by Taylor N. Mattson, Alternate Federal Register Liaison Officer, Department of Veterans Affairs.
Summary: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to amend the Veteran Readiness and Employment and Education regulations to incorporate the provisions of the Harry W. Colmery Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2017 (Colmery Act) that created the Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship (STEM Scholarship), which provides up to nine months of additional Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits to certain eligible individuals.
