WASHINGTON, April 14 -- Department of the Air Force has issued a notice called: Notice of Record of Decision for the Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed Mortar and Artillery Training at Richardson Training Area, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on April 14 by Crystle C. Poge, Air Force Federal Register Liaison Officer.

Summary: On March 27, 2026, the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and on March 17, 2026, the Department of the Army (DA) signed the Record of Decision (ROD) for the Final Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed Mortar and Artillery Training at Richardson Training Area, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
