WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Department Of Energy has issued a rule called: Rescission of DOE's Procedures for Traffic Control on the Nevada Test Site.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 12 by Treena V. Garrett, Federal Register Liaison Officer, U.S. Department of Energy.
Summary: This interim final rule rescinds DOE's regulations outlining the establishment of traffic control regulations on the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS), formerly known as the Nevada Test Site. This action is being taken to remove regulations that are obsolete because the NNSS uses Nevada traffic enforcement statutes. The effect of this action will be the removal of obsolete regulations.
