DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY ISSUES RULE: ENERGY CONSERVATION PROGRAM: EXEMPT POWER SUPPLIES UNDER THE EPS SERVICE PARTS ACT OF 2014

WASHINGTON, April 28 -- Department Of Energy has issued a rule called: Energy Conservation Program: Exempt Power Supplies Under the EPS Service Parts Act of 2014.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on April 28 by Treena V. Garrett, Federal Register Liaison Officer, U.S. Department of Energy.

Summary: The Department of Energy ("DOE" or "the Department") is revising its existing regulations to remove certain reporting requirements imposed on exempt consumer external power supplies ("EPSs") adopted under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, as amended.
