WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 -- Department Of Education has issued a rule called: Final Waiver and Extension of the Project Period With Funding-Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as Amended, Title VI, Part B, Native Hawaiian Education.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 25 by Kirsten Baesler, Assistant Secretary, Office of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Summary: The Secretary waives the requirements in the Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR) that generally prohibit project period extensions involving the obligation of additional Federal funds.
