This week, Congressman Chris Deluzio visited a Head Start classroom at Aliquippa Elementary School to read with students and meet with teachers and other leaders. Head Start is a federal program that provides no-cost childcare and early learning for young children up to age 5 whose families live below the federal poverty line. These programs have a goal of helping these kids reach the developmental milestones they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
