DEAN TRACY MULVANEY APPOINTED TO STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TASK FORCE ON TEACHER PREPARATION

Dr. Tracy Mulvaney, dean of the School of Education at UNC Pembroke, has been appointed to the State Board of Education's Task Force on Educator Licensure and Advancement, a statewide initiative charged with strengthening how North Carolina prepares, licenses and supports educators throughout their careers.

Established as part of State Superintendent Mo Green's Achieving Educational Excellence Strategic Plan, the task force will examine how North Carolina licenses, develops and advances educators.
