WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio, Sept. 29 -- The U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology issued the following news release:
The Department of the Air Force awarded Boeing a contract for 22 F-15EX Eagle II aircraft under Lot 7 - preserving the buying power of congressionally provided reconciliation funding and sustaining F-15EX production.
The Lot 7 agreement accounts for current programmatic realities, including the effects of the 2025 production disruption and broader inflation across the defense industrial base. Through focused, complex negotiations, the F-15 Program Office and Boeing reached an agreement that maintains the procurement of all 22 Lot 7 aircraft within available funding.
