Today, Representative Jahana Hayes (CT-05), John Larson (CT-01), Joe Courtney (CT-02), Rosa DeLauro (CT-03), and Jim Himes (CT-04) issued the following statement after voting "no" on H.R. 10076, the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026.
"Last June, the U.S. House passed a bipartisan Russian sanctions bill, H.R. 2913, to support the brave nation of Ukraine along with new military assistance to Ukraine, which is critically needed. The sanctions provisions in H.R. 2913 provided enforcement language that would ensure President Trump implemented the bill.
