Today, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) released the following statement after the Senate voted to confirm President Trump's nomination of Andrew Davis to be a U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Texas - Austin Division:
"The Senate is continuing to confirm President Trump's judicial nominees at a record pace with today's confirmation of Andrew Davis to serve as a federal judge in Austin," said Sen. Cornyn. "I was proud to join Senator Cruz in recommending Mr. Davis for this role given his impressive career in the legal field, and I look forward to seeing how he will serve Texans on the federal bench in Austin."
