Today on the floor, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) blasted Democrats for opposing the SAVE America Act (https://www.cornyn.senate.gov/news/cornyn-lee-roy-introduce-the-save-america-act/), legislation currently being debated on the Senate floor that would secure America's elections by requiring individuals to present proof of citizenship when registering to vote as well as photo identification before voting in a federal election, and for continuing to hold funding hostage for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which he has voted five times to reopen.
