CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY COMMISSION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: SAFETY STANDARD FOR LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES USED IN MICROMOBILITY PRODUCTS AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS OF MICROMOBILITY PRODUCTS CONTAINING SUCH BATTERIES

WASHINGTON, June 24 -- Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a proposed rule called: Safety Standard for Lithium-Ion Batteries Used in Micromobility Products and Electrical Systems of Micromobility Products Containing Such Batteries.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 24 by Alberta E. Mills, Secretary, Consumer Product Safety Commission.
