WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 -- Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a proposed rule called: Notice of Availability and Request for Comment: Revision to the Voluntary Standard for Gates and Enclosures.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 27 by Alberta E. Mills, Secretary, Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Summary: The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's (Commission or CPSC) mandatory rule, Safety Standard for Gates and Enclosures, incorporates by reference ASTM F1004-22, Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Expansion Gates and Expandable Enclosures.
