During a hearing of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) moved to subpoena Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, citing abuses by DHS, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) under the Trump administration and the Department's failure to comply with congressional oversight. The motion came as Congressman Krishnamoorthi questioned Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison about the impact of recent immigration enforcement operations.
