Congressman Keith Self (TX-03) introduced a concurrent resolution denouncing Sharia law and opposing its implementation within the United States.
The resolution reaffirms a fundamental principle: the United States Constitution is the supreme law of the land. No foreign legal or political system should supersede the Constitution or undermine the rights and liberties it protects.
Congressman Self's resolution comes one week after President Donald Trump acknowledged concerns regarding the implementation of Sharia law in the United States and voiced support for its prohibition.
