Today, Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14) released the following statement after the stop-work order for the Brandon Road Interbasin Project was lifted. The Brandon Road project is a $1.15 billion federal-local partnership intended to stop the continued spread of invasive carp up the Mississippi River Basin toward the Great Lakes. The project has received support from President Trump, who signed a presidential memorandum in 2025 directing federal agencies to expedite support and infrastructure for the project.
