Washington, July 21 -- Congressman Gabe Evans issued the following press release:
Congressman Gabe Evans' legislation that would crack down on counterfeit prescription pills laced with fentanyl, methamphetamine and other dangerous substances passed through the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
The Stop Pills that Kill Act would implement new penalties and close a sentencing loophole for counterfeit pill production. It would also require the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to create a comprehensive plan to tackle the influx of deadly pills.
