Today, Congressman Cleo Fields (D-LA-06) strongly condemns President Trump's address at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, calling the President's rhetoric toward NATO allies and world powers unprecedented and harmful to American interests.
"We did not elect a leader with unchecked power who can threaten our closest allies because of their refusal to blindly comply," said Congressman Fields. "When Danish military forces came to our aid after 9/11, forty-four soldiers bravely lost their lives. Is this how we choose to honor their sacrifice, by brandishing our own military forces against them to pressure compliance?"
