New York, NY, Sept. 10 -- Congressman Dan Goldman issued the following press release:
U.S. Representative Dan Goldman (NY-10) presented the Kings County District Attorney's Office with a $354,000 Community Project funding award. The award will be used to bolster the Outreach and Assistance Response (SOAR) program. The program is designed to conduct immediate outreach to violent crime victims and their families.
Rep. Goldman requested and secured funding for the project, which was included in a package of bills to fund the federal government. Goldman secured $13,756,000 for 15 community projects in NY-10 in the FY 2026 appropriations process.
Rep. Goldman presented the award to Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez.
