On Saturday, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop Jr. (GA-02) hosted a reception to honor the winners of the 2026 Congressional Art Competition from Georgia's 2nd Congressional District. The event was hosted at the Albany Museum of Art. The first-place winner's art will be displayed in the underground walkway between the Cannon House Office Building and the U.S. Capitol. This walkway is commonly used by thousands of Americans, spotlighting artists and their talents to a wider audience.
