SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara today ordered insurance companies to preserve residential property insurance coverage for more than 64,000 policyholders affected by the Gann Fire after Governor Gavin Newsom issued an emergency declaration on August 6th.
