HELENA, Mont., Aug. 25 -- The Montana Department of Commerce issued the following news release:
The Montana Department of Commerce today announced the revised Montana Automation Financing Program to support local manufacturing businesses seeking to upgrade, replace or expand their equipment through automation and modernization. The program now consists of two parts: direct loans of up to $100,000 made by Commerce to eligible manufacturers and a collateral support option that enables partner lenders to serve otherwise creditworthy manufacturers who lack sufficient collateral to qualify for conventional loans.
