WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard issued the following news release:
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - The crew of Coast Guard CutterWinslow Griesserrepatriated 63 of 66 alien migrants to two Dominican Republic Navy vessels,Saturday, following the interdiction of an unlawful migration vessel voyage in Mona Passage waters, Friday.
Three of the interdicted aliens remain in federal custody facing further investigation and charges of illegal attempted reentry to the United States under 8 U.S.C 1326.
